Brittany Johnson Ashcraft

Brittany began twirling at the age of 5 and twirled competitively for 20 years earning several regional, state, and national titles.  Her titles range from the 1997 Beginner Little Miss Majorette of America to the 2014 College Miss Majorette of the Southwest and recipient of the Tony Pierce Memorial Award.  Brittany was trained by Shelia Pierce, Gretta Johnson, and Janice Jackson Seamonds.

She was a feature twirler for Randall High School and was awarded the 2007 and 2008 State UIL Outstanding Twirler award.  She went on to be a feature twirler at Oklahoma State University where she had the opportunity to perform at a Dallas Cowboy football game and College Bowl Games through out her college tenure.  After graduation, she was a guest feature twirler for West Texas A&M University.

Once deciding to hang up her competitive shoes, she switched her focus to sharing her passion by coaching and becoming a NBTA Certified Judge.  She has coached competitive teams and individual students for the past several years in Lubbock.  Now that she has moved back to Amarillo, she is excited to share the sport that she loves with the area.

Brittany is married to her husband, Donovan.  They have 3 dogs, Shadow, a husky mix, Aspen, an Australian Shepherd and Archie, a St. Bernard/Coon Hound mix.  She is a DIY Interior Designer enthusiast and in her spare time you will find her renovating and designing homes.
